What is a lyrics file?
Timestamped lyrics files (like LRC files) are plain text files that contain synchronized lyrics with timestamps. They allow media players to display lyrics in sync with the music as it plays.
[00:17.53]And the land is dark
[00:21.22]And the moon is the only light we'll see
How accurate is the automatic transcription?
Our transcription technology typically achieves 95%+ accuracy, making it perfect for most songs. You can always fine-tune individual timestamps if needed by clicking the editor buttonat the right side of each line. What audio formats are supported?
Lyric Timestamp Generator supports most common audio formats including mp3, mp4, mpeg, mpga, m4a, wav, and webm.
How large can my music file be?
You can upload music files up to 25MB in size. For the best experience, we recommend using compressed formats like MP3 or M4A to stay within this limit while preserving audio quality.
How long does Auto Sync or Extract Lyrics from a Song take?
Auto Sync or Extract Lyrics from a Song typically takes 30 to 50 seconds for songs that are 3 to 5 minutes long. The processing time depends on the size and length of your audio—the larger the file, the longer it may take to process.
How can I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel your subscription at any time by clicking the Billing button on the page and selecting the cancel option. After cancellation, any unused credits will remain available until they are fully used.
If I cancel my subscription, can I still use my remaining credits?
After canceling your subscription, your remaining credits will stay in your account until the end of your current billing cycle. When the billing cycle ends, your credits will be refilled to the plan amount without accumulating any unused credits from the previous cycle. Starting August 4, 2025, new subscribers will receive a fresh credit balance with each billing cycle. Subscribers who joined before August 4, 2025 will continue to accumulate credits as usual.
Do you offer refunds?
Under normal circumstances, we do not offer refunds. Refunds are only considered if there is a problem with our system that prevents your request from being completed.
What are Enhanced Lyrics?
Enhanced Lyrics are LRC files that contain highly precise word-level timestamps. They ensure that every word is perfectly synchronized with the audio, making it ideal for karaoke, language learning, and interactive music applications.
Do you support enhanced lyrics?
Yes, we support both Enhanced LRC Format and Beat-by-Beat TTML Format for detailed, word-level lyric syncing. You can learn more about these formats here: Enhanced LRC and TTML Format.
How do Enhanced Lyrics differ from standard LRC?
Unlike standard LRC files that sync lyrics at the line level, Enhanced Lyrics assign a unique timestamp to each word. This results in a smoother, more immersive experience for users who want real-time accuracy.
What are the benefits of Enhanced Lyrics?
Enhanced Lyrics improve user experience by providing exact word-level synchronization. They are especially useful for sing-alongs, learning new languages, and generating real-time visual effects in media players.
