What lyrics can be extracted?
This tool reads lyrics stored in MP3 ID3 tags. It supports USLT (unsynchronized lyrics — plain text) and SYLT (synchronized lyrics — with timestamps). If your MP3 has SYLT data, the lyrics are displayed in LRC format with timestamps.
What's the difference between USLT and SYLT?
USLT stores plain text lyrics without timing information — great for reading along. SYLT stores lyrics with millisecond-accurate timestamps, enabling karaoke-style synchronized playback. When SYLT is found, we convert it to standard LRC format so you can use it with any LRC-compatible player.
What if my MP3 has no embedded lyrics?
If no USLT or SYLT tags are found, you'll see a "No embedded lyrics found" message. You can use our Embed Lyrics into MP3 tool to add lyrics to your file, or use the LRC Generator to create synchronized lyrics from audio.
